Participation goes beyond purchasing a service, beyond a simple financial contribution.
Egypt suffers considerably from an economic collapse. For many inhabitants of the desert, surviving is particularly difficult. A Bedouin confided to me that for nothing in the world he will leave these places, but his desire to have many children is very limited and still, under conditions of unimaginable precariousness. More than one Bedouin finally gave up this life.
Participating in these trips allows them not only to survive but also to keep alive a culture where we have everything to learn from its simplicity.
By our presence, by opening and integrating this simplicity, we also testify to our determination to transform ourselves. Together we create an act that goes beyond our unique person and will most certainly continue after this journey: the one to respect and give real support to give back to the Earth its original beauty and integrity.
